Eleanor Daniels

Born 28 December 1892 in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, Wales, United Kingdom.
Died 18 March 1994 in Connecticut, USA.

Eleanor Daniels began acting in her home country of Wales, after having begun working as a teacher. She toured American theaters with the Welsh Players theatre company in 1914. Daniels began film work in 1914, and she appeared in a few silent films produced in the New York area in the 1920s. She continued appearing on stage on Broadway for the production firm Comstock and Gest.

In later years, Daniels was a sought out vocal coach. In 1951, she worked for an American diabetes organization and continued working there until she was 87, and she eventually retired to Connecticut. Eleanor had lived to be 107 years old when she passed away in 1994.
