World Film Manufacturing Company should not be confused with the earlier World Film Manufacturing Company, Incorporated. The company was formed by Mandelbaum, Gleichman and a group of investors led by W.A. Pratt. Mandelbaum sold his interests in the company in 1914. Early releases included imported films. The company became World Film Corporation [?] in February 1916?
